Kurt MartinSubject: Java Heap Issue
Author: Kurt Martin
Date: 19 Jun 2007 09:11 AM
We have been testing some XSL:FO stylesheets we have created, and have been trying to post process using the RenderX FOP Processor. But on any files over 1MB we get a Java Heap space memory error. It seems awfully small (1MB) to cause an out of memory error.

Any advice?

In Tools>Options>Java Virtual Machine, add the -Xmx option to increase
the Java heap size. For example, to set the heap to be able to grow to
up to 50 megabytes, use this: (your line may vary somewhat)

-Xmx50m -Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8000

(The only part changed is to add the -Xmx50m at the start.)
