I could find a few posts for this but no solution !

I just have stylus studio open with an XML and XSLT wysiwig file and even in the background it takes aboout 20%-30% cpu on a P4 2.4 GHZ

so whats the solution for this ?

WYSIWYG behaves like that because we use Internet Explorer as our
drawing canvas and editor, and it continuously sends us events which
take up CPU time to handle (and discard, mostly).

We are working on a long-term solution to this and other WYSIWYG
limitations that does not rely on IE.
