Michael CrissonSubject: Formatting a number to always have 3 decimal places
Author: Michael Crisson

I am receiving data in XML format and the numeric data doesn't consistantly have the same number of decimal places every time. I want to be able to format the number in the output to have a specific amount of places behind the decimal. The output goes into a text file. How is that done? I have been looking and have had no success yet?
