Yitzhak KhabinskySubject: XML Diff functionality and sorting

Hello,

I started to use SS XML Diff functionality.

The question is if it possible to automatically presort XML documents in SS based on some XPath statement before manual diffing?

Without such functionality these 2 XMLs are different:
<root>
<r>1</r>
<r>2</r>
</root

<root>
<r>2</r>
<r>1</r>
</root

These two XML documents are different, node position is relevant in XML.

The Grid tab in the XML Editor allows you to sort elements using the column header

Hi Ivan,

Based on your suggestion I discovered that Grid view offers both "Sort Ascending" and "Sort Descending" options.
It would work well for our needs.

Thanks a lot for the tip.
