Thomas GossmannSubject: Stylus Studio with Java 1.5.0_07
Author: Thomas Gossmann

Hello,

I'm using Stylus Studion version 5.3.179l. Some days ago i upgraded my Java to version 1.5.0_07. Now, Stylus Studio comes up with "JVM not found" messages. In the about-dialog the exakt message for the JVM is: "Java Runtime Environment not found". As well I get a java-related error message, when opening a file and if I am using e.g. the XPATH format-number() function (I think there are some more functions that uses java). Unfortunately I cannot test my XSL transformation.

We detect this problem with the new java version on two computers. Are there any others having this problem?

Will there be a Path for version 5? Or is there still one, which I missed?

Thank you
gossi

Hi Thomas,

Unfortunately there is no plan to release additional updates for Stylus Studio 5.x.

You may consider moving to the latest release
Here a link to the evaluation if you are interested to try
