James PasleySubject: Upgrading the version of Xalan used
Author: James Pasley

I'm using Stylus Studio Version 4.0 build 088. Is it possible to upgrade the version of Xalan that is used. The version shipped with Stylus Studio has a bug where global variables can be corrupted (this is listed on the Xalan web site). So I would really like to be able to upgrade to the latest version of Xalan which fixes this. I don't want to configure it as an external XSLT processor, as I will lose the ability to debug the XSLT.

Stylus uses a slightly fixed/enhanced version of XalanJ (we are trying to
convince them to make our changes part of the "official" code, but that
will take some time).

If a new XalanJ version is available, we will include it in the next
updated 4.0 build, which will be made available in a couple of days.

Thanks,
Minollo
