Dean MurphySubject: XML Document Editors - Any recommendations
Author: Dean Murphy

Hi,

I am currently in the process of migrating some relational based data into XML documents. The relational data was previously maintained using a number of hand crafted ASP pages. I would like to move away from these custom ASP web pages to maintain the XML documents but I am struggling to find an "off the shelf" alternative.

My question is this, does anyone know of a commercial/freeware package that will generate an easy to use UI (preferably web based) for editing XML document content?

I have looked at XML Spy's document editor which, whilst looking very promising initially, seems to be quite primitive in terms of the functionality offered. I've heard mention of a number of utilities that will, given an XSD, generate a web form (ASP.NET) which at least removes some of the work associated with an admin interface but I've not had a chance to investigate further.

Any help, ideas, suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Dean
