Hi Cheryl,

To which database did you try to connect?

Right click on the database connection -> "Edit Server" then take a screen capture of that send it here.

Hope this helps

When I R-click, I do not get the edit server - I get the error.
I was trying to attach to an SQL database.

Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL?

Did you change any other settings under Tools->Options?

When Stylus Studio starts does it prompt for any other errors?

Under Help->About which version of Java Virtual Machine do you see?

Could you take a screen-shot of File Explorer panel?

Could you please export the Stylus Stuido registry setting?

- Click Start -> Run then type regedit
- right click and do export... of the following key

--HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
---Software\
----Stylus Studio\
-----2010 XML Enterprise Suite

zip the .reg file and send it to stylus-field-report@progress.com

Thank you for your help

After examining the registry we have discovered that an invalid value was set for the JDBC driver classpath field in the connection dialog.

Clearing the appropriate registry keys solved the problem.
