Hello
I have the home edition. Is there a way to create an xml document from an xsd properly structured with dummy values? I believe I did it once with the product

Yes, you can do that with Home Edition. Two options:

#1: open the XML Schema file, right click on the element definition that needs to be the root for your sample XML and select "View XML Sample"

#2: File > Document Wizards...; select XML Schema to XML
