Brian HonnigfordSubject: Error in converting 945 EDI using built in Converter
Author: Brian Honnigford
Date: 03 Sep 2009 03:19 PM
I am trying to convert customer EDI data for X12 4010 Tset 945 into XML using the built in Converter. The built in converter is thowing off the subsecient LX (Loop ID - 0300, GROUP_3 in the XSD) loops into loop ID - 0312 (GROUP_6 in the XSD). The converter is seeming to ignore the fact that there is no LS segment before the LX to indicate a start of the Loop 0312.

I am using the ConvertToXML node on a pipeline with the following Value for XML ConverterURL: converter:EDI

Example EDI Detail Loops
LX*1
W12*CC*420*420*0*CA*****533.4*G*L*****VN*11111
G69*Description 1
N9*LI*1.1
LX*2
W12*CC*45*45*0*CA*****104.4*G*L*****VN*22222
G69*Description 2
N9*LI*2.1
LX*3
W12*CC*315*315*0*CA*****371.7*G*L*****VN*33333
G69*Description 3
N9*LI*3.1

Could we see the whole file? It's hard to diagnose from seeing
just a piece; we can't run any diagnostics on the engine to see
what is happening and why.
You can mail it to stylus-field-report@progress.com, and it will
be treated as confidential.
