Ron van der SterrenSubject: converting DTD to XSD
Author: Ron van der Sterren

Hi,

I'm new to StylusStudio and I have the following question.

I received 3 DTD's of 1 ebXML document from transora (Envelope, ebHeader and CataloqueRequest). These DTD's refer to eachother with INCLUDES. I have to import this definition into SAP XI. However, SAP XI does not support namespaces in DTD's. According to some SAP forums I have to convert the DTD to a XSD. I'm using StylusStudio to do this.

Can somebody give me some hints what path to follow? In the end I need the correct namespace from the DTD in the XSD.

Thanks

ROn

Hi Ron,

There is no namespace concept in the DTD specs.

See the chapter "Creating XML Schema from a DTD" in the online help or at
http://www.stylusstudio.com/docs/v2006R3/d_schema6.html

Hope this helps
