Victor HastingsSubject: Preview PDF as HTML?
Author: Victor Hastings

Does anybody know of a server-side applet that would allow a document to be rendered in HTML with the same formatting and layout that it would have when rendered in PDF?

I'm building an application that will generate PDF documents, but I'd like to be able to preview them in a browser window without having to count on Adobe Reader being installed. I need true WYSIWYG previewing -- the HTML rendition must accurately depict what the PDF will look like.

Ideas?
