Hi,
Is it possible to use MSXML v.6.0 parser from Stylus Studio?
It is a *.dll file, so we don't know how to configure SS scenario to use the custom processor which is a *.dll file not an executable.
We all know that you support XQuery 1.0 and Xpath 2.0 based on latest specs available from w3c.org.
Both XQuery and Xpath are not final versions.
Can you do the same with MSXML 6.0?

Ivan,
There is no need to wait for Vista.
MSXML 6.0 is available since June 2005.
Microsoft released SQL Server June 2005 Community Technology Preview in June. It is made available for general public. SQL Server June 2005 setup installs MSXML 6.0 by default.

The only useful link for us would be a pointer to the MSXML SDK 6.0 on the Microsoft web site. Let us know if you find it.
As far as i know MSXML 5 and 6 are both considered internal versions by Microsoft. MSXML 5 ships with Office 2003 and MSXML 6 with the
next Visual Studio 2005 / .Net Framework 2.0.

Hi Elton,
Stylus Studio Home Edition can validate an XML file against MSXML 6. In order to be sure to have the most recent validator, please rename the folder <Stlus install dir>\bin\Custom Validation Engines\MSXML and then attempt to validate using the MSXML validator; you will be asked to confirm the download of the custom validators from the www.stylusstudio.com web site, and you should be all set.
