Hi, I'm having a problem with ddtek:sql-delete when I try to run it outside of Stylus Studio in our production environment. We use Stylus Studio 2007 to develop pipelines and complile them for Java which we run under DataDirect on a server.
I have a pipeline that uses ddtek:sql-delete that is failing with the following message:
Failure executing XML Pipeline com.edictsystems.xmlpipeline.KawasakiAccessoriesItems.KawasakiAccessoriesItems com.stylusstudio.xmlpipeline.runtime.PipelineException: Delete from BINLOC: Unable to convert value for parameter {http://org.jcp.xqj}context-item to a DOM.
The entire XQuery is the following line with a database reference:
ddtek:sql-delete(collection("BINLOC")/BINLOC)
The name of the table is actually longer with a schema name but I removed the names of the innocent. The entire pipeline runs without a hitch in Stylus Studio on my machine but once we port the compiled pipeline over we get this error and I have no idea what the error means really. I get that it is having problems converting a parameter to the type it needs but not why when it works fine in Stylus Studio. Any insight and help is appreciated.

It sounds like a problem in the generated pipeline code; what version and build number (Help > About) of Stylus Studio (which generates the pipeline) are you using? Can you email us the Java code for the pipeline at stylus-field-report@progress.com?
