Golam RasulSubject: Stylus Studio with OpenJDK
Author: Golam Rasul
Date: 08 Jun 2019 12:28 AM
Because of Oracle's new Java licensing requirement, our corporate decision is to use only OpenJDK. After removing JDK from environment, XSLT and some other features of Stylus Studio are not working. After installing OpenJDK 12, adding JRE using jlink and rerunning Stylus Studio the problem persists. Using licensed Stylus Studio 2009 XML Professional Suite Release 2.

About page says:
Java Virtual Machine: Java Runtime Environment library not found

XSLT execution says:
Unable to connect to JVM

Please suggest.

Stylus Studio 2009 is no longer supported at the time it was exclusively tested with the Sun/Oracle JRE.

Stylus Studio version X16 bundles a private copy of JRE.

Contact us at stylussupport@ivitechnologies.com to determine which upgarde path is available to your team.
