Joseph OMEJISubject: Java Heap Space
Author: Joseph OMEJI

Hi,

I have consistently been having issues with Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Suite Release 2 that bothers on 'Java Heap Space'.

This issue has always arisen when I carry out queries on a collection of (approx. 6000) xml files.

The query design is thus:

sum
(
for $d in distinct-values(collection('file:///C:/ReplicationXml/SchedulingXML_LIVE')//session_slot_distributions/@type)
return
count($d)
)

Further attempt to try this query on using the Stylus Studio 2008 evaluation version seemed not to produce results.

Pls can someone help out.

Thanks,

Joseph.

Hi Joseph,
you probably need to give the processor more memory; try adding -Xmx500M to the JRE configuration options (http://www.stylusstudio.com/configure_jre.html)

Hope this helps,
Alberto
