Jason PittSubject: crashing when connected via VPN
Author: Jason Pitt

Sometimes I need to work with Stylus while logged onto my office via a VPN but Stylus seems to need to be connected to the internet all the time, even though I've got a fully licensed registered copy.

Is there a way to make stylus work offline ? ie not connected to the internet ?

Thanks
Jason

Hi Jason,
once Stylus Studio has been activated, it only uses the Internet to check for updates. You can disable this check by going to Tools | Options, and unchecking the "Check for new versions" setting in the "Upon startup" group.

As for the crash, have you sent the dump report? It shouldn't crash if the connection is not available...

Thanks,
Alberto
