rob campbellSubject: converting data file to xml using schema
Author: rob campbell

Hello:

I have a CSV text file that I need to covert to XML using a provided schema. I can convert the CSV flat file to XML with no problems, but I'm not sure where to go from that point, i.e. map the elements to the schema and then produce the validated XML file. I realize this is not something that can be completely explained here, but could someone please point me to the appropriate tutorial on the stylus website.

Many thanks,

rob

Hi Rob,
have a look at the web page http://www.stylusstudio.com/xml_mapper.html; you can also watch the videos at http://www.stylusstudio.com/xml_videos.html (e.g. in the "XQuery" section, the "Introduction to XQuery Mapping")

Hope this helps,
Alberto
