Michael SienkiewiczSubject: What happened to the EDI Wizards

I am trying to do one of the video tutorial where we take EDI to XML and back again.

However when I go to the Document Wizard as the tutorial asks I do not have the EDIFACT to XML wizard selection. I will also need the X12 to XML option.

I am using a fully licensed version of Stylus Studio 2010 Enterprise Edition.

Thanks!

Michael,

Stylus Studio now has a dedicated module called EDI to XML.
http://www.stylusstudio.com/edi/edi_to_xml.html

Have a look at the video tutorial at
http://www.stylusstudio.com/xml_video_list.html#EDI to XML

Hope this helps

Thanks,

When I do this the box to generate HIPAA loops is greyed out when I select a HIPAA transaction (i.e. 834).

What can I do to get this piece activated?

Cheers!

Are you selecting 834 under HIPAA, or 834 under X12? You will only
get that option when using the HIPAA dialect, which we treat separately
from X12.

File > Document Wizards... > XML Editor > EDI to XSD

then under "Dialect:" choose "HIPAA" and not "X12".

For the 4010 834, you then want to select version "004010X095A1".
If you want the 5010 834, it's "005010X220".

As noted in the jpg attached to my first posting, that option does not exist on my wizard. I believe that although I have loaded the Enterprise Edition I also need to load something else to get this to work.

Is there a location where one can download these additional components?

As I mentioned before, I am using the 2010 version.

Cheers!

It is available in the Enterprise and Integration Editions.
Which version are you using? The current release is 2010,
and build number 1540c (which you can see from Help > About).

This is the only version I can find on the website.

I have a license ().

Is there another place to download this version?

Thanks!

Please don't post your license key online.

Are you sure the version you have is Enterprise or Integration Edition?
Build 1540b should contain the HIPAA conversions.

Meanwhile, we will check our records and get back to you.

Yeah, dumb to post key. Sorry but this is real frustrating and I have deadlines to meet.

This is the enterprise edition. I have enclosed a screenshot of the 'About' Window.

Cheers!

I can see the icon to click right on your first screenshot.

"File" menu.
Then "Document Wizards..." choice.
Then "XML Editor" tab.
Then the third icon, "EDI to XSD".

From there choose Dialect: HIPAA and then your version and your message.

And herein is my problem.

As you can see from the screen shot the 'Generate HIPAA Nested Loop Structure' checkbox is greyed out.

What happens when you use HIPAA as the dialect instead of X12, as I
asked in one of my earlier replies?
