Ken StringerSubject: Struzzo.exe sing 50% of CPU
Author: Ken Stringer

Hello,

I installed Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Suite (SS) on XP SP2 and it now uses 50% of my CPU. I had been running SS on Win2K w/out any problems. On XP, the CPU jumps to 50% whenever I open SS or when the SS window receives focus. When SS is open and has focus, CPU usage jumps to 50% every few minutes for about 20-30 seconds. This process basically disables my computer until SS is done.

I have seen on this forum that the solution is to upgrade to a newer build. I am running Build 735d with a disconnected user license.

Does anyone know if there is a solution to this issue or if SS offers free upgrades?

Thanks in advance

Ken

You can update to the latest v2007 rel 2 package here:
http://www.stylusstudio.com/update/2007.html

If the problem persists, please contact us at stylus-field-report at progress dot com, including details about what (if any) documents are open in Stylus Studio when you experience this problem, and which one (if any) is active.

Thanks.
