Russ SuterSubject: XML to XML?
Author: Russ Suter

I'm brand new to Stylus Studio. I really like it so far but I'm still evaluating whether or not it's truly useful for our company. One question I have is that we have a program that accepts a very specific XML schema. We receive data from another company in a different XML schema but most of the data is compatible. Is there a way using Stylus Studio to convert the data from one XML format into the other? Obviously some data will be discarded and some of it will have to be filled in manually. Is there a way to put some kind of "placeholder" data in where data must be added manually?

Thanks in advance,

Russ...

I would soy that xslt is the solution to your problem and Stylus´s xsl editor is very good.

As I'm still relatively new to all this I'm not 100% certain what XSLT is and how it works in Stylus Studio. Can you point me to the best training examples of how I might accomplish this?

Thanks,

Russ...
