I had just opened stylus, then opened a project, then opened an XSLT. Then I changed my mind and closed the XSLT - then stylus crashed.

Total time around 30 seconds.

Yep, the stack trace and the description make a lot of sense. I guess you
closed the XSLT document pretty quickly and the XML document associated to
the default scenario is pretty large.

We are fixing the problem.
