Michael NevinsSubject: Crashing when connected to database
Author: Michael Nevins

I asked for help earlier on this topic, and now I am asking again. I cannot keep a SS session running during a MySQL Query. If I delete a link between the database source pane and my XSD, it crashes. When I save and open the database Xquery and then click on the mapping pane it crashes. If I cut out "ALL" my previous created XQuery code and then click on the mapping pane I can open that pane. But if I paste back in my previous code and click on the mapping pane it crashes.

Who do I need to talk to and resolve this matter. Our plan was to use this prodct on a very important Naval project, but I am ready to scrap this whole product if I cannot find a fix for this.

I have noticed that even selecting the query tab and returning to the mapper tab causes the system to crash.

Is this a problem with the MySQL driver possibly?

From what you are describing, the problem seems to be related more to the structure of the XQuery and how Mapper interprets it rather than to the specific database in use.

Can you attach (or email us at stylus-field-report at progress dot com) the XQuery you are using?
