Dimple DhawanSubject: No error message when there should be one, java
Author: Dimple Dhawan

Hello,

I am running Stylus generated Java Code to insert xml into a DB2 database. When I run do this outside of Stylus (ie. Eclipse or command line), if an illegal insert attempt takes place, I do NOT receive an error message. (ie. Trying to insert a record with the same primary key value already in the database). I do get an error message inside of the Stylus application though.

What needs to be done, so I can be always be informed if an error occurs?

Thank you.

Hi Dimple,

Could you please send to us (stylus-field-report@progress.com) the Java code you are using to perform the update?

Thank You
