Peter ParkerSubject: Custom external processor and internal preview
Author: Peter Parker

Hello,

i'am using an external processor to transform my XML to PDF (using XSL:FO). I'am calling a VBScript file in the scenario properties, which sends the XML to a service (RPC call) - this service transform the XML and writes a PDF onto my filesystem.

I would like to preview this PDF file within Stylus Studio using the internal preview feature. Can anyone explain what return value Stylus expects after pushing the scenario run button, to display the final PDF inside the preview window?

Thanks a lot

Hi Peter,

Does your post processor generate a file with extension .pdf?

If you switch to the IE preview and you have Acrobat Reader installed you should see the PDF there.
