Corwin JoySubject: Schema Evolution

I am evaluating Stylus Studio for my company and I have a question. We develop an application that writes data in XML format. Every couple months we need to change the schema that we use to write data. What we want to do is to be able to produce conversion scripts that can convert files in our old XML format to files in our new XML format. What we are looking for is a tool that can:
1. Diff schema files.
2. Bring up a mapping dialog that asks how we wish to map the differences between schema.
3. Generate transformation code to transform data from our old format to our new format.

This kind of transformation is sometimes called schema evolution. Is there a good way to handle this in Stylus or would every entity between two different versions of a schema need to be mapped by hand?

Stylus Studio has no specific tools to help with schema evolution,
although it does have excellent mapping tools that can reverse-
engineer XSLT or XQuery graphs from the actual code.
