Hi,

I want to read the value of default namespace in the input xml.
Please tell the method, how to read the default namespace?

the input xml is like

<xml xmlns="http://...some text..">
.....elements of xml file.....

</xml>

here i want to read the value of xmlns into a string and display in output xml file.

Please tell me how to accomplish this task.

Use the namespace-uri(<element>) function.
In your case, put the name of the root element as the parameter.
