Steve CutbushSubject: Cannot switch to WYSIWIG in XML-HTML Stylesheet
Author: Steve Cutbush

Hi all.

I'm having some stress with Sonic 4.6 (build 103t),
access documents on an XIS server.

When I try to switch to WYSIWIG view, the following
error appears:

Engine - Invalid Parameter : getfile : Method requires XMLStore arguement

followed by:

XML2HTML WYSIWIG encountered an error in the XSL Stylesheet
Unable to load requested document:
xln://owgntn:1051/xln://owgntn:1051/bma/brandMaster.xml

Note the repeat in the owgntn:1051 ..
I believe this is the problem, but I can't
work out how to get around it.

This works OK with a local file system, however
I need to work with the XIS file system.

Upgrading is an option, however the upgraded
product needs to work with the B.P.M. plug
in .. something that has stopped me upgrading
to date!

Any ideas anyone?

Can you send us the XSLT you are running so that we can see how the paths are being computed?

Thanks,
Minollo

Thanks for the response ..

I've given the server a labotomy and knocked out the process that was using port 1050,
and switched the XIS installation to use the default port.

This has happily sorted out my WYSIWIG, so I guess I'm not toooo concerned anymore.

However, the version of Stylus is very buggy .. it crashes continually, and switching to
WYSIWIG mode appears to rewrite some of my stylesheet!

Last time I upgraded Sonic, the BPM plugin failed, and I needed to roll back.
Would you happen to know the latest version of Stylus that works with BPM?

Best Regards,

Steve Cutbush.

Well, many improvements have happened to Stylus Studio since BL103, which
is what you are using; especially in the wysiwyg area.

The latest 4.6 version, compatible with BPM, is BL103v, available from
