Dmitry BolkSubject: Using local DB2 database Alias in RDBXML
Author: Dmitry Bolk
Date: 20 Feb 2007 03:10 PM
Hi,
We created a scenario that will help us to insert XML file into the Database. RDBXML file has direct database connection , include server name, port and so on.
Currently RDBXML file has information for out Test Environment.
We would like to move RDXML files to the Production environment, and change connection information to the production one to.
Is it possible to use Database aliases in the RDBXML JDBC_CONNECTION_URL attirbute of the scenario tag , instead of the full database path (serever name, port and so on)?

Thank you,

Hi Dimitry,

The attribute value for JDBC_CONNECTION_URL has to be a full server URL in order to connect to the database.
