When I want to create a database connection in File Explorer
click View -> File Explorer
right click Relation DB -> New Server
I do not get the option to choose the DataDirect SequeLink datatype while this option is offered in the definition of a scenario when I choose New DB to XML Source.

Is there a reason for this difference?

Hi Paul,

DataDirect XQuery does not support Sequelink natively.

You can still use the Sequelink based connection via
"DB to XML Data Source" but it will not perform or scale as the built-in drivers.

doc("db:///c:/MyODBC.rdbxml")

Out of curiosity which database product you need to connect to?

Hope this helps
