Steen NielsenSubject: Is there a keyboard shortcut to mark entire elements?
Author: Steen Nielsen

I am looking for a way to select and entire element from start-tag to end-tag. Is this possible?

I know there is a function to go to the matching tag (Edit > Go to matching tag), but this does not select the entire tag. It only moves between the tags.
I have tried to setup a shortcut for it to ALT + HOME, in the hope that holding down SHIFT while using it, would select the entire element, but without results. the shortcut simply doesn't do anything then.

I was therefore wondering if anybody knew of a different approach to achieve it?

Collapse the element using code folding then hit CTRL + SHIFT + END

Hope this helps
Ivan
