Hi,

I'm new user of stylus and have some problem to connect an oracle DB

I went in menu file/new/db to xml datasource:

database type : Oracle
Server Url: jdbc:oracle:thin:@xxx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx:myDBname
UserName: myUserName
Password: myPwd

I get error:
[StylusStudio][Oracle JDBC Driver]Unable to connect. Invalid URL.

This URL is a copy/paste from a well working java application.
In java code, the driver type is asked and setted to: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver to be able to connect sucessfully.

Here, driver is not asked,is there a place in Stylus options to set driver to be used?

Thanks a lot for answer
Best regards

Hi Francis,

Stylus Studio is designed to work with DataDirect drivers.

Is there any reason that prevents you to use the built-in Oracle driver?

Hope this helps
