Richard WagenknechtSubject: Discrepancy with MSXML
Author: Richard Wagenknecht

Your XSL processor lets me do the following:

key('some_name/some_other_name', some_value)

MSXML complains that a '/' character is not allowed in a key name.

Are you correct or is MS correct?

I've tried using Xalan-J, and it accepts the '/' as well.
But reading the specs it seems clear that a key name is a qname, which
cannot contain '/' characters. So it looks like both Xalan-J and we are
wrong, while MSXML is correct.
