Alex MakarewyczSubject: Struzzo.exe eats up %40 CPU bandwidth while idle

I noticed my laptop gets really hot when Struzzo is running; even when it is idle.

Struzzo.exe eats up %40+ CPU bandwidth while idle.

Running ProcessMonitor it looks like Struzzo.exe is in a loop, querying SmartXRefresh reg key. And reading $TMP/stdout.txt $TMP/stderr.txt.

Attached is the trace from ProcessMonitor.

Has anyone noticed this before? If so is there a workaround/fix? I'm on version 6.1 build 287e.

That problem has been addressed in more recent versions of Stylus Studio; you may want to try the latest v2008, available from http://www.stylusstudio.com/download
