Jean-Pierre LamonSubject: Java configuration
Author: Jean-Pierre Lamon

Hi,

After changing JRE 32 bits to JRE 64, Stylus can't detect JVM anymore.
I've tried "auto detect", but nothing happens.

Java Registry entries :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Development Kit\1.7
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Development Kit\1.7.0_25
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.7
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.7.0_67

JAVA HOME set to :
C:\Program Files\Java\jre7_64\bin

After Autodetect, nothing in the combox JRE version.
Stylus Studio X15, enterprise.

Thx for your help
JP

Hi Jean-Pierre,

Stylus Studio is 32 bits therefore can only run 32 bit x86 Java.

Hope this helps

Thx Ivan,

It helps but... don't solve my problem :-)
Maybe 32 and 64bits JRE on the same machine? Possible?

Regards
JP

You can run 32 and 64 bit JVM side by side. I suggest to install 64 bit last if you run software relying on the "default JVM" for example when you double click on a self executable .jar file.
