Joe RobeSubject: terrible perfomance using the editor

Hi,

I love SS but the editor is just terrible when it comes to large documents. Especially replace operations take forever as it seems that SS editor refreshes the screen after each replace. One would assume adocument/view architecture where replace is done in memory and that display refreshed once after all replacements have been done.

Please note this for future updates.

Joe

I downloaded the latest version, but the problem still exists.

I assume the version you where talking about is not out yet ? What is the estimated date ?

Thanks

Tony referenced 2007 Release 2, which is due later in April this year.

I'm emailing you a link to a beta version of Rel 2 you can use to verify that the behavior you reported has improved.
