Adam EricksonSubject: What is "Java bult-in" XSLT Processor in SS 2008
Author: Adam Erickson

When looking at the Scenario Properties for an XSLT stylesheet in Stylus Studio 2008 I see an option called "Java built-in" and I no longer see the option for "XalanJ 2.5.2" as there was in version 2007. Is "Java built-in" Xalan? If so, what version is it? If it's not Xalan, what processor is it and where can I find details about it?

Java built-in is the default XSLT processor bundled in the Java platform

Sun started to bundle Apache XalanJ from Java 1.4. Each Java platform versions bundle a different XSLT processor.

The attached XSLT can be use to display which version your Java JRE is running
