Hi,

When escaping characters in schemalocations the validation of stylus fails, because it cannot read the import file.

try : Where "imported%255Elocal.xsd" is actually saved with the escaped characters

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

<!--<import namespace="http://www.test.com" schemaLocation="imported^local.xsd"/>-->
<xsd:import namespace="http://www.test.com" schemaLocation="imported%255Elocal.xsd"/>
</xsd:schema>

Kind regards ad vand er ende

The attached example seems to work fine.

Hi,

But the name of the path is not with the escaped characters. You named the directory with the non-escaped character.
When you name the path as "a%5Ea/A.xsd" it will not be valided.
Do not translate the %5E to a ^.

Kind regards

I am not sure I follow you.

In the example posted there are 3 files

main.xml
main.xsd
a^a\A.xsd

The content of main.xsd is the following

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xsd:include schemaLocation="a%5Ea/A.xsd"/>
<xsd:element name="B" type="A"/>
</xsd:schema>

If I validate main.xml that points to main.xsd that includes a%5Ea/A.xsd, the validation succeeded.

What do you do differently?

Hi,

You named the directory on disk with the real ^ character.
When you name the directory on disk exactly, literally, with "%5e", validation will fail.

Kind regards
