Subject:using Oracle V2 for validation/transformation in Stylus Studio Author:Kurt Wald Date:18 Oct 2012 06:36 AM Originally Posted: 18 Oct 2012 06:20 AM
For anyone who might be interested here is how to use the tools from the Oracle XDK 11, bundled for instance with DBMS 11g or Jdeveloper, as custom processor:
or custom validation engine (replace YourPathHere in the config files attached with your actual path an copy them to your StylusX14\bin\Custom Validation Engines directory). Stylus Studio seems to be recognizing max. 11 custom validation engines including those being part of the installation in the Validate Document dropdown. So you may need some fine tuning in the Custom Validation Engines configuration dialog or with the Index attribute in the configuration files in StylusX14\bin\Custom Validation Engines.
Finally: be aware of the Oracle licensing terms when using components from the XDK.
