Hello,

I want to create a new project with source control (CVS) but when I follow the instruction, the project Wizard come-up empty. (no SCC icon).

I'm using the home edition and according to the feature matrix the SCC is supported.

Thank you

I am experiencing the same problem and I cannot select a source provider, it says that none are available but visual source safe is installed. Attached are 3 screen shots.

Stylus Studio behavior may be confusing but the reason why you don't see the wizard icon is because there is no Source Code Control provider register in your system.
Stylus Studio uses the following registry key to query for SCC

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SOFTWARE\
SourceCodeControlProvider\
InstalledSCCProviders

You need to use a SCC that is a Microsoft Visual Studio SCC Provider.

Here you can find a note on how to use Zeus CVS

Hope this helps

David,

Are you using a CVS Client implementation that is compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio?

If that's not case it not going to work.

Hope this helps

After a quick the search on their mailing list:

http://sourceforge.net/search/index.php?words=SCC&sort=posted_date&sortdir=desc&offset=0&group_id=48103&type_of_search=mlists

Some users suggested differnt CVS client.

David,

Did you install Microsoft Visual SourceSafe on your machine?
If yes, is it working properly?

Thank You

MVSS is installed on the machine and it is working properly. I now have been able to go through the 'New project wizard' and create a new project without any of our past errors. But when we create a project from source safe the project does not know that all the files are actually in source safe. It just gives the option to add them individually instead of check in/out etc...
