Karen LopezSubject: Problem with case sensitive
Author: Karen Lopez

Hi Guys!

I have a problem with the case sensitive searchs, I need to find a way to solve it!

I'm searching in a database in Exists, and I'm using the same code to control the case sensitive:

let $keyword := 'teatro'
let $generalqry := ($keyword, upper-case($keyword),lower-case($keyword))
for $register in collection('/db/bdng/musica')//rdf:Description [. &= $generalqry]

With that the query with the word "Hi" or "HI", "hi", throw me the same registers, but the data base has words in spanish, so it has accent marks...

How can i do that with words with or without accent marks throw me the same result??

let $keyword := 'canción' same as 'cancion'

any idea??
