Keyboard Accelerators

This section lists and describes Stylus Studio keyboard accelerators and function keys for the following:

File Commands

Ctrl+N
Opens the Scenario Properties dialog box so that you can define a new scenario.
Ctrl+O
Displays the Open dialog box. You can open any kind of document that Stylus Studio handles.
Ctrl+S
Saves the active document.

Displays Stylus Studio Help.
F2
Moves the cursor to the next bookmark.
F5
Invokes the XSLT debugger and initiates XSLT processing. If there are breakpoints, Stylus Studio suspends processing when it reaches a breakpoint. If there are no breakpoints, and no errors, processing completes.
F12
Displays the XSLT source pane.
Ctrl+F2
Inserts a bookmark.
Shift+F2
Moves the cursor to the previous bookmark.
Ctrl+Shift+F2
Clears all bookmarks.

Selects all text in the XML source view.

Copies selected text in the edit window and places it on the Clipboard.

Displays the Find dialog box.

Replaces text.

Inserts the contents of the Clipboard at the cursor.
Ctrl+X
Removes selected text from the window in which you are editing and places it on the Clipboard.
Ctrl+Y
Redoes the most recently undone action.
Ctrl+Z
Undoes the most recent action.
F3
Finds the next occurrence of specified text.

Support for the Saxon XQuery Processor

Stylus Studio's XQuery tools feature integrated support for the Saxon SA 8.7.3 XQuery and XSLT processor so you can Edit, Debug and Run XQuery using Saxon. Java code generation support lets you deploy Saxon XQuery applications with just one click.

XML Project

Stylus Studio's Project Window is an intuitive, visual feature for organizing files belonging to a project. It supports different file-type icons and nested folders; many helpful options are available from the context menu.

Java IDE

Edit, compile and debug and generate Java code with Stylus Studio's Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Supports popular Java XML processing components including Apache Xalan, Apache Axis, Apache Xerces, Saxon and more.

XML Applications

XML Applications are software applications that process data using standard XML technologies like XML, XML Schema, XSLT and XQuery. Using Stylus Studio XML Pipeline, learn how to model, edit, test and deploy an XML Application with ease.
