kranthi ThakkellapatiSubject: Image src through System Variable
Author: kranthi Thakkellapati

<img src="C:\Documents and Settings\348860\Desktop\New_Home_Logo.gif" alt="Ethicon" align="middle" title="Ethicon"/>

Is there anyway to get the image through a system Variable like:

<img src="$tc_root\New_Home_Logo.gif" alt="Ethicon" align="middle" title="Ethicon"/>

Use a java extension function for this

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns:plm="http://www.plmxml.org/Schemas/PLMXMLSchema"

bind the java class to a namespace prefix in the stylesheet root

xmlns:js="java:java.lang.System">

declare a global variable and assign the value of the system variable

<xsl:variable name="tc_root" select="js:getenv('MySystemVar')"/>

...

concatenate the variable with the file name

<img src="{concat($tc_root, '/New_Home_Logo.gif)}"
alt="Ethicon"
align="middle"
title="Ethicon"/>

Hope this helps
