Jodye MooreSubject: XML 2011 question
Author: Jodye Moore
Date: 24 Jul 2013 02:18 PM
So Im new to SS and have so far only made changes to existing docs, not creating new ones yet. But, in a current document I have made some changes and each time I try to 'play' it so I can see the document, SS asks me to choose the program I want to use to open the file..... it's never done that before and I don't know how to get around it.
Im sure this is a very simple fix since I clearly am a novice.. any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jodye,

Could you post a screenshot of the all Stylus Studio window when the dialog comes up?

What are you setting in the Scenario dialog?
See screenshot attached.

Thanks!

It seems like that Acrobat Reader is installed properly and appears correctly into the Preview Window.

Try to un-check "Preview Result in an external application"

Tried that... it does make the 'open doc in what program' error stop, but the spreadsheet still will not 'play' and show me what the doc looks like. I attached the way it looks.

It looks like that the post processing step, which runs the FO processor and generates the PDF, is disabled.

Make sure that either Apache FOP or RenderX are selected in the
scenario dialog Post-process page

Hope this helps
