Using Stylus Studio from the Command Line

Stylus Studio provides utilities that allow you to perform several Stylus Studio operations from the command line. These utilities, and where to find more information on them, are described in the following table.

The executables for these command line utilities are located in the \bin directory where you installed Stylus Studio.

XQuery Debugger

The Stylus Studio XQuery Debugger allows you to set breakpoints and step through the evaluation of any XQuery expression in a way that gives you complete control and visibility into the XQuery expression evaluation process.

DTD Generator

Stylus Studio's DTD Generator supports the automatic generation and association of both internal and external DTDs based on XML instance documents.

XML-to-XML Mapper

XML to XML mapping tools in Stylus Studio provide a powerful visual interface for mapping XML data from-and-to virtually any data format using industry-standard XSLT and XQuery technologies.

Building DataDirect XQuery Applications

Stylus Studio further simplifies relational and XML data integration by providing advanced XQuery tools support for building XQuery applications which use DataDirect XQuery.
