I was wondering the point of these questions throughout however I found it was interesting to read the responses to the questions and found the point of them in the end somehow a relevant concept of some mild interest.   

I tend to think that being critical of people asking questions that one might consider a waste of time could lead to less people asking questions generally and that surely is the opposite of what the XML community would be interested in having happen.
