Sure, but the problem is not only technical :-)

You see, I'm just trying to provide an easy-to-digest solution for
fellow workers. It's quite common for non-XML-DEVers to look at you like
you came from mars when presenting RelaxNG schemas; so I was trying to
avoid Schematron (which, BTW, like more each day).

My point, which can be another argument, is that it's probably easier
for most people to use this new Schematron-thingy than write XSLT for
validation purposes. Even if it's not, I still think Schematron should
be used as it provides the abstraction/framework needed. Thanks for
giving me an answer that matched my question though ;-)
