Francis Norton developed a schema constructor in XSLT. He has used it in his typeTagger preprocessor and in the embedded Schematron preprocessor. His code is the best place to start and it may already do pretty much what you want. Cheers Rick ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Brown" <prb@f...> Has anyone built an XSLT-based schema unification application? Is anyone interested in working on one? Is it possible to take an XML schema -- together with all imports, includes, and redefines, and construct a single "unified" and optimized schema that lives in a single file?
