I know there are other discussions about this topic, but I am unable to get an answer or example of what I need. I have been creating xml to xsl:fo and html output, but now need to create an excel spreadsheet as output.<br> I have started a stylesheet and am successful, except that I am getting blank lines where in between rows.<br> In my xml I have different headings, so a row will have heading columns then data - that might be different from previous heading and data.<br> there are three sections (headings with different elements to print)<br> all the elements - however are in the xml doc, which I don't see as a problem...but as you can see by the results I need to eliminate the blank rows between my different Headings which in the xml doc is titled Section_title for the fors section_title Experience .... I only want to show the first 7 elements...then for the next section_title UBH Follow...I want to show the elements starting with a_few_days thru four_or_more and for the last section_title Impact...I want to show the last 7 elements

generic XSLT questions are better asked (and answered) on the xsl-list mailing list, which specializes in general-purpose XSLT issues.
