I am still looking for a
volunteer author to write a few paragraphs for the XML FAQ explaining what
JSON is and why one might want to use it instead of XML.
Please form an orderly queue...

I think that query from a JSON document is
possible via an API (after the output of JSON parse). This is not same in
sense as querying an XML document (for e.g using XQuery or only XPath), but
similar to for e.g the XML DOM APIs.
